The drawing of game characters and levels enables children to illustrate their thoughts and how they envision the game. The children can be supported with different materials, such as old magazines to create collages. They should be motivated to create their own characters and game levels, as children most of the time have a picture in mind what the game should look like. The drawings can be enhanced, for example, in drawing classes at school. Scaife and Roggers [1999] or Large et al. [2006] also encouraged children to express their ideas in drawings and found this to be a valuable design tool.
